Juliana Dieterich

I have a passion for creative problem solving. I find a great deal of satisfaction working with people from concept to completion on a variety of projects.

My journey in the design industry began when I majored in Graphic Design at the The Art Institute of Dallas. After I started my career designing invitations for 360 Events in Dallas where I continued to work remotely for 3 years, After that I worked for Lilies in June where I was in charge of branding as well as invitation design. I went on to work for GameStop Headquarters creating Posters, Flyers, Gift Cards, Weekly Ads Game Cases and more. Now I work in eCommerce at Sage Tree creating content for a variety of brands for Amazon Walmart and CVS.

I balance my day job with personal creative work, like collage and painting, my creative approach no matter the medium is to find points of tension behind the idea I’ve been assigned or am interested in. I do several iterations on each point and usually end up refining the one I find most inspiring.

For me design is about inspiring your audience to remember the beauty in life. It’s a way to plant a little bit of desire in their hearts; a yearning to learn more about your idea. Ultimately, it’s about creating memorable images.

Juliana is a talented and highly skilled designer with a keen eye for visual beauty. During our time working together on GameStop's creative team, I got to watch her create all kinds of print and digital assets with a detail-oriented nature only seen in those who care that their work stands out. She has a solid understanding of illustration, color theory, typography, print and digital design, and working within large and small groups to complete high priority projects in short timeframes to hit deadlines. On top of all that, she's also an incredibly friendly, fun, and energetic person to be around with an excellent sense of humor and a cheery disposition that makes you want to come in to work with her everyday.
